Sarah Palin is back in Alaska, resuming her chores as Governor. I wonder if she was surprised during her foray in the national limelight just how nasty the American press and public can be? I wasn’t surprised but sad at the treatment she received from the liberal media and far left hate mongers. From my point of view, Sarah is a breath of fresh air in American politics. The liberal media seemingly cannot understand a good person, a person who HAS principles, and stands by them. Cannot understand why a woman would not abort a baby that was going to less than perfect. Cannot understand someone with integrity and values. If she had been a liberal, they would have loved her. As it was, the feminists even excoriated her for thinking she could mix a political career with her family.
Now, after the election loss, she is being pilloried by McCain staff members. And where is McCain standing up for her? Michelle Malkin puts it very well as usual.
